St Margaret’s Pre School is located within the village of Laceby, North East Lincolnshire, and has been established since 1983. It is a registered charity, run by a voluntary management committee and operates from within the local village church hall. The Management Committee consists of the parents, grandparents and family members of past and present children.

The Pre School receives support from the North East Lincolnshire Local Authority and was the first setting within North East Lincolnshire to receive Accreditation from the Pre School Learning Alliance. The Pre School has successfully taken part in the Local Authority’s quality assurance scheme, Effect Quality Improvement Pathway (EQIP) and has achieved level 2 status.

St Margaret’s Pre School is registered for 26 children per session, aged from 2 years to under statutory school age, and mainly serves the local community. St Margaret’s Pre School provides the following session times:

Morning session times, Monday – Friday, 9am – 12pm
Afternoon session times, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 12pm – 3pm
Closed Wednesday afternoon.

St Margaret’s Pre School is registered to receive Early Years Payments for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and we offer funded children flexible hours during the nine sessions.

The Pre School consists of one large playroom with adjacent kitchen and toilet facilities. The setting also has a fully enclosed outdoor soft-surfaced play area for the ease of free flow indoor/outdoor play. The outdoor space has a canopy permitting all weather access. We aim to provide high standards of care and education, while promoting a positive learning environment, allowing for equality of opportunity, ensuring each child’s individual needs are catered for.
